Westin's Near Miss

We had a serious lightning storm tonight. The storm was rolling in as I was leaving Tech, and the lightning prompted me to head over to GTRI's parking deck for a bit of shooting. I took about 9GB of photos over the course of the storm until it got too close for comfort. I'm happy with this one, which is a crop of a larger image.

This was shot at f/8.0, 2", ISO 100. I manually focused, then locked down my remote shutter release and let the camera shoot continuously.

I think CN's office lights are a little distracting (and wasteful!), but other than that, an excellent capture. You still get some sunlight on the buildings which is amazing during a storm like that.
Schweet. I love storm photography.

I dimmed the CN lights. It looks a bit artificial, but I think it's better overall.
