Studying at Toscanini's

I asked this girl if I could take her photo as she studied (her book contained photos of brains, so that was my educated guess). I need to print some personal business cards for my website so that these interactions are more professional and less "creepy guy."

Haha, aww. How do people tend to react when you ask if you can take their photo? I wouldn't think that you come off as creepy, but so many people are into photography these days so it doesn't faze me like it might have a few years ago.

She was pretty cool about it, but she asked "why?" - I said I was in town from Atlanta and was just taking random photos. Now that I've thought about it more, I probably should have said, "it's for my personal portfolio," which is a bit more of a structured purpose.

Yeah, it's probably a cappuccino or a hot chocolate.

You know what I just realized? She's wearing a spaghetti-strap top in single-digit weather. Even with wearing layers on top and being indoors, I couldn't imagine doing that in the dead of winter. That's really hard-core.

Haha - yeah, but she was wearing a sweater when I first arrived at the cafe, and there was a coat next to her. I s'pose the sweater got too hot after sitting in the sunlight indoors.
