Cousins Under a Rock

This weekend saw our annual family reunion at Cloudland Canyon. Here are several of my younger relatives in the typical photo spot on the way to the falls. Cloudland is on a list of parks that may be closed due to budget constraints, which would be a real loss to residents of North Georgia. Hopefully, if it is closed, it will be preserved in such a way that it can be reopened in the future.

What list are you talking about? I think you misinterpreted the article. They mentioned Cloudland because it was one of three local state parks in the area of that station. I doubt they would close Cloudland, since it's one of the bigger parks and probably makes a lot of money for the state. If they did decide to close them, they would probably sell them to private donors or environmental organizations who would upkeep the park.
