New Room Layout

  • January 7, 2007
I've spent the weekend rearranging my room to ring in the new semester. It's more obvious than ever that I have lots of empty wall space, so I'm up for ideas concerning how to use it. I think that I might put up a mosaic in the form of the Rasterbator, but not necessarily in the raster style built by that site. A few posters would be good, too, but they're generally not as creative a use of space. I might make a few large prints of photos, but those are expensive. My two favorite aspects of the new layout are: being able to see out the window without turning around, and having access to my desk space without having my back on guests sitting in the futon. Now if only I could get this giant CRT out of the way without losing my giant CRT :)

The table is an art surface, so it's basically waterproof :)

Now you need a holographic display monitor, so you can see persons beyond your desktop. But for a more cheaper suggestion, perhaps a spinner to place under the crt so you can turn it around and watch movies from the futon.

That monitor on the right looks strikingly similar to the ones we keep in 811.

Will a projector do? Then you can make use of the wall behind the bed =) Kill two birds with a stone! Yah!!!
