Centennial Fireworks Lovers

  • July 17, 2006
Here's just a small part of the crowd that had assembled to watch the July 4th fireworks at Centennial Park downtown. Little did they know that nature had other plans. About an hour before the show was set to start, huge droplets began falling on our heads. After mere minutes, the downpour sent the remaining stragglers running for the exits ... and by stragglers I mean "the 99% of people who were still in the park". It took us about 5 minutes to find our car once the rain started, so we were plenty wet by the end of the ordeal.

What a strange article. They say it's been almost 25 years since The Who last toured, but I saw them in concert during high school - that was definitely a tour. I think what they meant to say was that it's been nearly 25 years since they released a new original album ("It's Hard" in 1982).

Rolling Stone said the new album is closest to Who's Next.

I like that you can see the hull of the Aquarium in the distance.
