More People Than You Can Shake a Fist At

  • July 4, 2006
Rather than run the Peachtree this year, I opted for the lazy route and shot photos instead. Matt and I started just outside our apartment to watch the wheelchair racers at about 7a. Our apartment complex lies at about mile 3.5 on Peachtree, but I had staked out a spot at mile 5 and had also told several friends running that I'd be near there. We couldn't come up with a good driving/parking plan, so walk we did. After meeting my sister at Piedmont after the race and walking to her car, we came close to walking the full distance of the race anyway.

Oh well, it was just as cool to do the photos instead. The full set will be up within a few days.

Cool. It's the "Runners Having Fun" set, photo 10. It's funny that I'm taking their photo with one of the disposable cameras they had rather than my own camera.
