Rebuilding Tenth Street

  • June 29, 2006
The city is currently tearing out 10th Street next to Tech's campus in order to repave it, a refreshing fix for the pothole-lined surface that existed just a week ago.

I discovered an excellent Firefox extension yesterday, thanks to a commenter on Slashdot: TargetAlert. Once installed, it acts as a warning whenever you hover over certain types of links, such as PDF or mailto links. That way, you know that your computer will soon be grinding to a halt if you click that PDF link.
