Life on a Mint Leaf

  • May 20, 2006
I walked around the house (my parents', that is) this afternoon, eager to refresh some of my photographic feelings toward everything. Lately I've felt like everything is so drab and unphotoworthy, and it's been reflected a bit in the lack of content on the photoblog during the past week. One of the major hurdles is that my camera bag is large enough that I can't take it with me everywhere, as I could several years ago when I was willing to carry the "man purse" as Smitha called it. When I get a little bit of spare cash, I'll definitely invest in a small bag that I can take anywhere, to encourage me to take more spontaneous photos; I think those end up being the most rewarding.

For now, the occasional solo photo stroll will have to do.

Haha, I only referred to it as a man purse after the Piccadilly's waitress mistook it for a purse. ;o)

Why can't "pro" photographers just wear their cameras around their necks like the rest of us do? If you really wanna be spontaneous, you don't need all those extra lenses, flashes, and cards.
