Well hi there! Most of my blog readers know by now, but we've basically finished our move into the new apartment. I've been wiring the bedrooms for ethernet, which is a tough task on its own. The walls are solid plaster, so the cables must be routed directly along the walls, along the carpet, and around doorway moulding. I've had to learn how to splice and crimp ethernet, which is good, but we'll probably end up using about 140 feet of cable, which is about $25 worth on Newegg. It sure beats wireless.
