Do You Understand Perspective?

  • November 15, 2005
As the discussions in the Technique photog meetings digress, they still usually have something to do with photography in general. Here we see Charles contemplating the perspective of a ream of legal paper. "Why does it look smaller when it's farther away?", he asks. Of course he knows why we think it does, but he wants to know. We then went into a 30-minute discussion about optics, with Jessica finally setting everyone straight with the ancient optics teachings she had to pull from deep in the back of her mind.

It's great that you have such interesting meetings with your fellow cohorts, but unfortunately the rest of us don't care. =P
