Don't Touch

We weren't sure if he's venomous or not, or even if he's a she. It lunged at me a few times but never really got more than 3 inches off the ground.

so i was trying to be all cool and identify what kind of snake this is, but i have no idea. this page (http://www.gwf.org/commonreptiles.htm) lists common snakes in georgia, though, and this one doesn't look like any of the venomous ones, so that's probably a good thing. :)

It looks like its about to shed its skin so the color is going to be off. The head is a triangluar shape so I would guess it is venomous... maybe a copper head.
