I had yet another strange dream last night, where a huge crowd had gathered to survey the scene of a large quarry demolition. As the dynamite exploded, a huge wave of small stones headed for the crowd, sending everyone scattering. The wave all but died before it reached the crowd, but I was able to run to the side of the tide. Afterward I went looking for bodies along the edge of the wave but found only a few dead snakes. Once everyone had calmed down, I saw representatives from the quarry company taking down details of those injured, I guess for legal purposes.

Unrelated, I woke at around 6:45 this morning without my alarm. When I've set it, it startles me when I wake up before my alarm because I am afraid I missed it. When I noticed that it was 45 minutes before my planned wakeup time of 7:30, I checked the alarm before nodding back off. Lo and behold, I had set it but not actually turned it on. Fate gave me a chance to save me the embarassment of waking up far later, missing June to pick her up, and arriving very late at the Lego Camp downtown. Whew!

Actually, maybe that was just a dream too?

haha. i agree.

re: the stuff down below, i've done that before, when i've woken up earlier than the alarm only to find out that i didn't set it properly. i think it all balances out in the karma of alarm clocks and waking up, though.

Actually, strangely enough, it happened to me this morning as well, though at about 7:05 when my alarm was "set" for 7:00 but not enabled. Weird, hm?
